10 pc of Delhi water samples unfit for consumption

Almost 10 per cent of drinking water samples collected from areas under the North Delhi Municipal Corporation have failed to meet prescribed standards, a report released today said.

As compared to the South Corporation, where just 1.2 percent samples failed to meet the requisite criteria, its counterpart in the north fared much worse in the testing done by the civic body in coordination with the Delhi Jal Board.
