BJP, Congress on war footing at JPC meet today

The Joint Parliamentary Committee that is probing the 2G scam will meet today.

During the meeting, the BJP is expected to strongly oppose the content of the leaked draft of the JPC's report.

The leaked report had given a clean chit to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

The opposition party had suggested that the report had unnecessarily dragged the name of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee into the massive scam.

The BJP may seek a vote on the draft report.
