Parliament may be adjourned sine die if Congress party insiders are to be believed. A highly-placed source said the Congress arrived at this conclusion given the A Raja-JPC-Coal-gate issues. This means the Union Budget may be passed without discussion. In fact, insiders say Parliament may be adjourned sine die by Tuesday, April 30.

The Congress, which is feeling the heat from the Opposition, has discussed the option of giving an extension to the JPC for a month where A Raja will appear before it, and then submit the final JPC report in the first week of the Monsoon session.
