Thane building collapse: 21 accused remanded in judicial custody

As many as 21 accused, including builders and officers of the Thane Municipal Corporation, arrested in connection with the collapse of an illegal building at Mumbra, were today remanded in judicial custody till May 3.

Seventy-four people were killed and scores injured when the unauthorised under-construction building crumbled on April 4.
