Medha Patkar calls off fast against slum demolition

Activist Medha Patkar has called off her nine-day fast against the demolition of slums at Mumbai's Golibar area.

She called off the fast after Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan assured her that the probe into the demolition of the slum will be completed in eight days.
