Erring Goa MLAs arrive for session wearing helmets
April 12, 2013  12:56
After cutting a sorry figure for violating the traffic rules a week ago, six Goa legislators today arrived for the Session on their motorbikes wearing helmet.

Five legislators, who drove on the National Highway on April 5 without wearing helmet and one of them without a number plate, were fined by the state transport department. Total nine MLAs, including four pillion riding, were involved in violating the traffic rules.

Fisheries Minister Avertano Furtado, who was earlier fined, told media persons that they came wearing helmet today as "they had realised the mistake."
