Presidency College students in Kolkata have begun a rally to protest against the violence carried out by alleged TMC workers in the college yesterday. Vice-chancellor of Presidency College will join the protest. The rally will begin at the university and end at Writers' Building.  The students' delegation will present a memorandum to the chief minister.

In Delhi, both Left and TMC supporters will hold separate rallies in different parts of the city to protest against the death of SFI student leader Sudipta Gupta and manhandling of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by SFI protesters in New Delhi on Tuesday, respectively.

TMC workers vandalised classrooms and the historic science lab, the Baker Laboratory inside the college campus.
