Annual Subsidy bill will go up by Rs 2,500-2,600 crore as a result of sugar sector decontrol, said the FM.

Sugar decontrol is a major step which will benefit farmers and the industry, said Chidambaram.

He added that revenue growth of 16.7 per cent is commendable.
