AIIMS doctors to treat villagers in Naxal-hit Bastar
April 02, 2013  21:12
In a bid to reach out to residents of conflict zones in the Naxal-affected Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, the CRPF has come up with a novel plan of tele-medicine in collaboration with AIIMS.

The move is aimed at bringing about a paradigm shift in the villagers' outlook towards security forces.

It envisages the networking of at least 100 CRPF camps, spread in Bastar region with Raipur AIIMS, through electronic means of communication.
