Rushdie fan of Tottenham Spurs

In a week where his memoir Joseph Anton was released along with Deepa Mehta's film on his Midnight's Children, Salman Rushdie has this to say: "@SalmanRushdie: OK, publishing a book and releasing a movie is all very well, but Tottenham beating Man. U. 3-2... priceless." Salman has apparently been a Spurs fan for a long time.
