WB Congress ministers to resign at 5 pm

Six Congress ministers will submit their resignation to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at 5 pm today, said WB Pradesh Congress Committee president Pradip Bhattacharya.

We will meet Governor M K Narayanan at 6 pm and inform him about withdrawal of the Congress support to WB government, he added.

The resignation of the WB Congress ministers comes a day after Trinamool Congress formally withdrew their support to the UPA yesterday over FDI in retail and hike in diesel prices.
