Law must protect people not just foreign investors: CJI

"Law must protect people not just foreign investors. The government must avoid Americanisation of Indian laws," said Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia during his speech delivered at the conference on 'Economic Growth in Asia and Changes of Corporate Environment' at Vidyan Bhawan in New Delhi today.

"The biggest challenge India faces is to get inclusive growth," he said. "Without economic democracy, political democracy will be in peril in the country."
