Four Maoists held in Andhra Pradesh

A Maoist leader and three others working as couriers for a Maoist organisation, were today arrested in Andhra Pradesh, police said. 

According to the police, during a routine vehicle-check operation today between Devarpally and Kudunur, an autorickshaw, in which four persons were travelling, was intercepted. 

All of them belonged to a Maoist party and were going to meet a party leader, police said. One of the arrested, K Ashok Reddy alias Murali was a member of the Maharashtra State Committee of the party, they added.
