Cong ministers resign from WB govt

Six West Bengal Congress ministers submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Writers' Building today.
WBPCC president Pradip Bhattacharya along with some other party leaders will meet Governor M K Narayanan at 6:00 pm and inform him of the party's withdrawal of support to the Trinamool Congress-led government in the state.
Congress ministers resigned a day after Trinamool formally pulled out of the UPA over FDI in retail and hike in fuel prices.
