Never said make birth control mandatory: Gogoi

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoitoday denied making any statement on making birth controlmandatory but said he had only suggested a small family.

"I have never made any statement on making birth controlmandatory in the state," Gogoi said in a statement here todaydenying reports that appeared in this connection in asection of the media.
