AMU admission for Arjuna awardee Annu Raj Singh

The Aligarh Muslim University has decided to grant admission to Arjuna awardee shooter Annu Raj Singh under the special sports quota.

"There is a provision for granting admission to outstanding achievers in the university even though they may not have applied for it," Prof Tariq Mansoor, secretary of the AMU Games Committee said.

Prof Mansoor said the AMU would be holding a special felicitation programme shortly in honour of Singh.
