Japan seeks a new energy policy

In the aftermath of the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant, Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda has stated that the country will try to gradually abandon all usage of nuclear power. 

To work towards this target, the Cabinet has agreed to a completely new policy on energy.   

Noda believes that most residents of Japan also supported a no-nuclear-power policy.
