Allahabad HC reserves judgement in Taj corridor case

Also happening now... The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court today reserved its judgement on PILs seeking direction for initiation of proceedings of criminal case against former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and her cabinet colleague Naseemuddin Siddiqui in alleged Taj Corridor scam.

The petitioners have sought a full-fledged trial of former chief minister Mayawati and her cabinet colleague Nasimuddin Siddiqui before CBI court. The CBI court had discharged them for want of prosecution sanction in 2007.
