After shunning TMC, Akhilesh to meet Mamata now

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav will meet Mamata Banerjee, his counterpart in West Bengal, shortly. This comes after the Samajwadi Party today said the Trinamool Congress was a major regional party, but the SP's alliance would be with the Left. The SP also announced that it would fight the polls alone and did not want the TMC to be part of the third front.
