A court today allowed ATS to take 26/11 key handler Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal to Nashik in connection with his bid to attack police academy there. The special MCOCA court today remanded Jundal to judicial custody till September 24 in the Aurangabad Arms Haul case.

The ATS would produce Jundal in a Nashik court and seek his remand, sources said. Meanwhile, ATS officials today told the court that they spoke to Jundal's parents and asked them to come to Mumbai to meet him but they have not yet turned up.

"We have called them but they have not yet turned up," ATS told the court to which Jundal responded saying that "They would be busy in some work and I will decide on my lawyer only after talking to my parents". The court had earlier directed the ATS officers to tell Jundal's parents that he wanted to meet them.
