Pioneered India's Milk Revolution

Dr Verghese Kurien, who pioneered India's Milk Revolution at Anand, Gujarat, passed away in Nadiad on Sunday. He was 90. An early tribute was posted by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who tweeted: "My heartfelt tribute on sad demise of Dr. Verghese Kurien. His pioneering work gave the milk revolution, transformed India & touched us all."
