Quota bill to divert attention from coalgate: BJP

NDTV reports: The government plans to get Parliament to function today by introducing in the Rajya Sabha a bill to allow reservation in promotions for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in government jobs.

The BJP, which has stalled Parliament proceedings for 10 days now over the coal allocation issue, says not so fast. It has accused the Congress-led government of trying to divert attention from what is being called 'coal-gate'.
