Maya: BJP said they would focus on coalgate, not quota bill

BSP chief Mayawati speaking on the SC/ST quota bill says she requested BJP leaders Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj to allow a debate and the passage of the bill, yesterday. She said they had agreed to it, but said coalgate would be discussed first and only then will they agree to bring up the quota bill. "This is deplorable. Not letting Parliament function is not acceptable. There are just three days (including today) for the bill to be passed and it would have been, but for the BJP," Mayawati said speaking to TV channels.
