Narendra Modi: Counting day is Diwali for Gujarat

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi is campaigning in Gandhinagar today in the run up to the state polls. Exuding confidence, Modi says, "Our Diwali is on counting day. I face the polls with confidence."

In Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi is on a campaign trail as well. The speech lacks lustre with the oft-repeated: "We need youth to fight graft" and the "BJP doesn't act on graft" spiel.
