After Jaipal Reddy, Union Minister of State Lalchand Kataria, has been sulking long and hard. Miffed over work allocation in the Defence Ministry, he has now been moved to the Rural Development department.

The re-appointment comes following a meeting between Kataria and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday.

In two other changes, MP Milind Deora, MoS in Telecommunication and Information Technology Ministry, got additional the portfolio of Shipping in the same rank and Panabaka Laxmi, who was made MoS in Textile Ministry on Sunday, was reallocated Petroleum and Gas department.
