Sandy: Worst disaster for NYC metro's 108 years

Update on Storm Sandy: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said early on Tuesday that the storm was the worst disaster in the history of the New York City subway system.

"The New York City subway system is 108 years old, but it has never faced a disaster as devastating as what we experienced last night,' said Joseph J. Lhota, the authority's chairman, in a statement.
