Sandy to make landfall in New Jersey in 3-5 hours

In an updated advisory from the National Hurricane Centre, Sandy is now 65 miles (105km) away from Atlantic City, and has maximum sustained winds of 90mph (150km/h). The NHC estimates that the centre of Sandy could reach the coast of southern New Jersey or central Delaware within the next three to five hours.

Meanwhile, in just two hours, the number of customers without power due to Hurricane Sandy has more than doubled. 

More than 765,000 in seven states have no electricity, with New York and New Jersey being the most affected states with more than 220,000 outages each.
