Krishna wants to work for party

External Affairs Minister SM Krishna has reportedly sent his resignation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, and expressed his desire to work for the Congress without any post.

Krishna also wrote to party president Sonia Gandhi, and emphasized on working for the party. According to reports and sources, Krishna, one of the senior members of the present Union Cabinet, reportedly indicated that he would like to give the Prime Minister a free hand in deciding whom he would like to chose as the next Foreign Minister of the country during the expected reshuffle of cabinet over the weekend.
