BJP does not want Gadkari to campaign for HP polls

An effort is on to impress upon BJP president Nitin Gadkari to not campaign for the party for the up coming Himachal Pradesh assembly polls.

The BJP had had gone all guns blazing against Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Virbhadra Singh making allegations of forgery, money laundering and income-tax evasion against him. They feel that if Gadkari went to Himachal Pradesh, the Congress will make the best of the situation to attack the party.

In order to corner Nitin Gadkari, the BJP will try to ensure that Gadkari will step down himself to allow LK Advani to step in as the temporary party chief till January 2013.
