Spanish King to visit India

Spain's King Juan Carlos I will arrive in India on Wednesday on a four-day state visit and will be accompanied by high-level ministerial and business delegations.

He will be in Mumbai and Delhi during the course of his visit.

While in Delhi, Carlos I will be accorded a ceremonial welcome on October 26. He will call on President Pranab Mukherjee, who will host a state banquet in his honour.

Delegation-level talks are expected to take place between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Spanish King.
