Abducted Sukma collector's negotiator writes about it

G Haragopal, one of the mediators who negotiated with the Chhattisgarh government as well at the Maoists who had abducted the Sukma collector Alex Paul Menon, writes in the Economic and Political Weekly that the 'kidnapping of the Sukma district collector in April 2012 and the issues that came up in the CPI -Maoist party's statements had much to do with a model of development that is surrendering rich natural resources to corporates and multinationals for a pittance in the name of growth.'
