Drop cases against passengers: Achuthanandan
October 20, 2012  18:13
CPI-M veteran and opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly V S Achuthanandan today asked the government to withdraw the cases slapped against six passengers of an Air India Express flight for allegedly storming into its cockpit for diverting the aircraft due to poor visibility at Kochi yesterday.

Criticising the Air India for its alleged bad treatment metted out to Non-Resident Keralities passengers, he said 'yesterday's incident was the latest one'. More than 200 passengers including women and children were not given water and food for 10 hours, he said.

It was shameful that the NRK passengers have to face untold difficulties even after there were six Union ministers from Kerala, Achuthanandan said.
