Minor fire at Finance Ministry

A minor fire broke out at the Finance Ministry in North Block here today. The blaze was reported from a room next to Minister of State Palani Manickam this afternoon and four fire tenders were rushed to the spot which doused it in minutes, fire brigade officials said. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire. No one was injured in the incident, they said.
