AI passengers 'hijack' Dubai-Kochi flight

Just in: There has been a hijack scare at the Thiruvananthapuram airport. An Air India Express plane had to make an emergency landing after the pilot raised the hijack alarm as passengers had forcibly entered the cockpit. Early reports indicate that there was a technical snag and the pilot decided to land the Dubai-Kochi flight at the Thiruvananthapuram international airport. But passengers refused to cooperate and entered the cockpit demanding that the flight take off as per schedule. The pilot then pressed the emergency alarm. The passengers have refused to disembark.
