Mitt Romney has 6-Point lead over Obama: Gallup

In his biggest lead to date, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney slightly extended his lead over incumbent US president Barack Obama by six points, according to the latest poll. 

The former Massachusetts governor is supported by 51 percent of the likely voters, while Obama has the support of 45 percent, the Gallup said, releasing the results of its rolling seven-day average through October 16.               

This does not take into account Tuesday's debate in New York, in which Obama was a declared a winner, according to all the major snap polls.
