Pak considering military operation in North Waziristan

Pakistan is seriously considering the option of launching a military operation against Al Qaeda and Taliban safe havens in the tribal region of North Waziristan agency, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said.

The tribal agency is the hub of terrorists, Malik said, adding that the government and military leadership would decide whether there is a need for an operation in North Waziristan.
