France interested in Bengal's investment potential

France today expressed interest in the potential of West Bengal for investment, particularly in the IT sector.

French Consul General in Kolkata Fabrice Etienne, after a meeting with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, said his country was keen on exploring the scope of investments to the state.

"The state with its enriched cultural heritage has a lot to share with other parts of the world," Etienne said after discussions with the chief minister on a wide spectrum of issues.
