British high commission's Guj visit gives Modi a high

The British High Commissioner has announced that he will visit Gujarat and meet Narendra Modi. The CM who is extremely active on Twitter tweeted: Welcome UK's move to strengthen ties with Gujarat.
It may be recalled that Modi became a political pariah internationally after the 2002 Gujarat riots and has been consistently denied a visa to the US. Modi's last visit to the UK was in 2003, but it was marred by protests on the riots.
