Cong politicising Haryana rapes, lashes out BJP

In the world beyond Maya, the BJP today dubbed Congress President Sonia Gandhi's visit to meet the family of a Dalit teenaged girl, who immolated herself after being allegedly gang-raped in Jind in Haryana, to be a political stunt. The party said that Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda should have been shown the exit door following the rise in atrocities against women in the state.

"Sonia Gandhi is sitting at a position where she doesn''t have to say anything, she has to perform, she has to do and she has to deliver. And the least she could have done is to pull up the chief minister, gave him a dressing down...or shown him the door," said Punj.
