Security compromised at Mumbai airport for 3 hrs

For three hours at the Mumbai International Airport today, security was thoroughly compromised.

Sources say that a fight between customs officials and the Central Industrial Security Force, which handles security for the airport, left some entrance and exit gates unguarded

Customs officials intercepted two vans belonging to the CISF after a tip-off that drugs were being smuggled in the vehicles. However, the information was incorrect, reports NDTV.

In protest, CISF pulled their guards from an entrance and exit used mainly for cargo, as well as to access the airstrip.
