Gujarat poll schedule may affect 26 MPs

The winter session of Parliament will be partially hit by the Gujarat poll schedule announced today, as campaigning will be at its peak then. Tentatively it is expected that that the winter session will commence on November 19, Monday, and end before Christmas, that is by December 24.

If this schedule is finalised, the 26 MPs from Gujarat will be busy campaigning in their state and may not continue to participate in Parliament debates.
