Lockout at Kingfisher till October 4

The meeting between the striking engineers of Kingfisher and the airline's CEO Sanjay Agarwal ended in a stalemate late on Monday, with the CEO telling the employees that the company cannot pay even a month's salary to them.

Meanwhile, an airline official was quoted as saying by a news agency that the airline will be temporarily shut down till Thursday,At the meeting with the striking engineers, Mr Agarwal urged the striking employees to return to work, at the same time threatening to stop operations if the employees do not join back work.
