The UPA's Coordination Committee meet with allies on FDI on retail ends on a positive note. Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamal Nath says the UPA is firmly behind FDI on retail and the Speaker will take a call on voting.
Kamal Nath said there has been no insistence on voting and all parties were united in wanting a discussion, not vote. "The consensus has been conveyed to the Speaker who will take a call," said Kamal Nath.
NCP leader Praful Patel say there is a consensus on not voting and that the UPA was united. "The government will decide on the next course of action," said Patel.
