Pak Taliban: We will attack Hamid Mir again
November 27, 2012  13:07
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed credit for the attack on senior Pakistani TV anchor Hamid Mir saying that despite repeated warning he did not stop speaking against the Taliban.
In a message to rediff.com's Tahir Ali, TTP spokesperson Ihsanullah Ihsan said, "We (Taliban) had fixed the bomb under his car; but he survived. He is on our hit list; if he has escaped today, we will attack him again. Mir is working on a secular agenda."

Hamid Mir escaped an assassination attempt when police defused a bomb planted beneath his car on Monday morning. The material included a battery, a detonator and ball bearings.
