Bomb found beneath Pak journalist Hamid Mir's car

Just in: A bomb has been found under the car of Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir's car.

An explosive material packed in a black bag was recovered from a vehicle of senior journalist and anchor person Hamid Mir, who works with the Pakistan based Geo News. The channel said the explosive was planted beneath Mir's vehicle and has been defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad.

Mir while talking to the television channel said that a neighbour's driver pointed out the presence of a suspected black bag. The BDS said that about half a kilogramme of explosive was used in the making of the bomb. Mir is a news anchor, terrorism expert, and security analyst who regularly participates in international conferences.
