Modi set for sweeping victory in Gujarat: Poll
November 24, 2012  18:38
BJP and Narendra Modi look set for a comfortable victory in Gujarat, winning even more seats than last time.

In the opinion poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen for the upcoming state elections in December, BJP is projected to win a massive 124 seats in the 184-member Assembly. In 2007, BJP had won 117 seats.

Congress's fortunes are far from any revival. The poll shows Congress slumping to only 51 seats, down from its 2007 tally of 59 seats.

Keshubhai Patel's newly formed outfit Gurajat Parivartan Party will get only three seats. Independent and others get four seats, including two seats to NCP.
