Day 2 of Parl: Baith jaiiye, slogans, adjournment

Both Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon. In one year, Parliament runs for 80 days during sessions.

During the Monsoon session, after repeated adjournments, former Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal had said, "Each day, business in both Houses is conducted for around six hours. If we take into account the total annual expenditure on Parliament, then each minute of running the House costs Rs. 2.5 lakh."
