Asif Ibrahim frontrunner for IB director's post

A correspondent in New Delhi: The buzz in the New Delhi corridors of power is that Asif Ibrahim is the forerunner for the post of Intelligence Bureau director.

Ibrahim is an IPS officer of 1977 batch of Madhya Pradesh cadre. The PMO on Friday made an assessment of officers and three other appointment orders are likely next week.
