UPA doesn't want Parliament to function: Jaitley

Sheela Bhatt reports from New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, while addressing a seminar organised by the Confederation of All India Traders, said that the UPA government doesn't want Parliament to function.  

 

The government stand that policy decision cannot be debate is an illogical argument, Jaitley said. Voting is not alien to democracy, Jaitley added.  

 

How can government say the issue of FDI in retail is cast in stone, Jaitley wondered, adding, some mysterious pressure is working on the government.
