DMK to abstain from voting on FDI in retail

A correspondent from Delhi reports: DMK has reportedly decided to abstain from voting in Parliament on the issue of FDI in retail. This comes as a huge relief to the UPA, which had feared that its major ally may vote against it.

Incidentally, a senior emissary from UPA spoke to DMK leaders in Chennai on Wednesday evening to sort out the matter.
